Early in my photography journey I started with a basic $99 point and shoot camera. I quickly realized that it was something I wanted to learn more about, so I invested in my first Nikon. I was blessed enough to cross paths with Paula Paiva through a contest and she took me under her wing to teach me more about the profession. I was a second shooter for her on weddings for about 2 years. As I grew more comfortable, I began to take on clients when I was able and build a portfolio.

During most days of the year I work as a high school science teacher out of Frederick County, MD. During weekends and my summers I spend time behind the camera lens when I am able to. I am a lifelong learner and love to try new ideas to expand my knowledge!
